It is actually really interesting, as I've read that past ANTM contestant Natalie from Cycle 12 (she really wasn't that memorable) claims that Tyra favours the black contestants over the white...shocking, however I understand how her behaviour could be perceived that way, in several cases such as Naima vs Kahlen, Naima's ethnic ambiguity worked in her favour over Kahlen's natural model talent. Danielle vs Joanie, Danielle couldn't talk properly to save her life and posed the same face in every photograph yet Joanie was a model chameleon who was very articulate however Danielle won....
Whereas this article claims that Tyra Banks is discriminative towards the black girls in the competition and tries to remove them of their culture and essentially 'white them up.'
So if your a Top Model fan or Tyra hater do have a read!
