Trailer-spotting

When there is nothing on telly, you are bored of your music and it's just before autumn (or 'fall' if your that way inclined) which means everything new spangled is being released..... theres nothing like TRRAAIIILLLLERRS.
Yum.
All the film festivals are on and talking future films but I'm mostly looking forward to Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan and Danny Boyle's 127 Hours.

Black Swan is a typical 'All About Eve' premise telling the story of  a top ballet starlet (Natalie Portman) soon facing strong competition of a younger better stronger version of herself played by Mila Kunis. Things get ugly and things aren't what they seem.Intrigue!(no really, watch the trailer) As usual Aronofsky provides great visuals and what seems a straightforward storyline manages to slap on a big dollop of WEIRD.
P.S I love swans so I maaayybe biased?

127 Hours is based on the true life events of Aron Rolston who got stuck in boulder somewhere. Now stupidly I read a 'spoiler' about this man's life ruining some of the events in the film. Damn, and I'm really annoyed I did that because I have a feeling that is going to be a major scene in the film. At least I'm prepared...

127 Hours

The Trailer is great. Looks like a cool music video, James Franco.Hot. Nice landscape shots. Some Girls...and then TERROR!
Excited and also a little scared.

Two very different films. Two very cool trailers.
